German to English translations [PRO] Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs / driving licenses
German term or phrase:VHK-Daten
Am translating an Auszug aus der Führerscheindatei from the Landratsamt München, which contains records as to when physical licenses were issued and picked up and for what classes.
There are two instances of the acronym I am looking for:
"VHK-Daten", which heads the section of the file containing basic information such as the current license number, the date it was handed to its owner, and the classes that person is currently allowed to drive.
"Klassen VHK" precedes the list of classes that person is currently licensed for (B, BE, C1, C1E, etc.)
Does anybody have any idea what this might stand for?
Explanation: I have put the German term in the "target term" field as the asker wanted to know the meaning of the source abbreviation. See my link below to the relevant piece of German legislation for confirmation that this is in fact the correct term.
NB: The previously suggested answer of "Fahrzeughalterkennzeichen / Vehicle owner identification" seems to refer to rail traffic as opposed to road traffic.
