German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng / flexible foams for sound damping in vehicles
German term or phrase: verschoben
I am translating a text about testing flexible foams for sound damping within vehicles. I can't seem to find a suiutable translation for "verschoben" in this particular context.

The sentence comes in a section about testing the insertion loss of various foams.

Generally speaking, good damping characteristics can be achieved with "einem zu niedrigen Frequenzen verschobenen geringen Resonanzeinbruch"

Thanks in advance
