disagree  Languageman: Really not sure about this. As far as I can tell they are saying "despite everything we did, it still wasn't as good as the old one!", nothing to do with testing the old software .

"Level of functionality" is a more usual term, but not a very precise translation in this case. Still, "depth of functionaility" is pretty common itself, as a quick Google will reveal.

agree  Languageman: I thought of that too, and you could use it I think, but somehow it made me think of function nesting, which is not meant here. 'Depth of functionality' also scores much better on Google (59k vs. 13k hits).
