container Explanation: In databases one often speaks of containers, which are named sections of a storage device. So 1)a container could be a) a disk drive; b) a tape; c) a diskette; , tha) a Zip-disk that is any physical memory device that is formatted and has a name, or 2) it could be any folder in a file structure, that contains subfolders of files. A "container defintion" would therefore probaly include a path, a name, and maybe even a description of the contents (if that is not clear from the folder name). The processing would then include checking for empty folders, listing contents, and perhaps deleting or archiving documents that are oldert than a defined date. HTH t |
