I have looked at so many english SQL texts and none of them mention a workplace-related base system / basic system, however all of them mention a workstation based system and I have discovered atranslation for arbeitsplatz as workstation so I think something like that is meant here, whether its an operating system or not I don't know. Think I will combine the 2 somehow. Confusion! Thankyou for your help and time!! Happy Christmas! O
