What is the difference between Version and Ausprägung?


Explanation:
Is it just the same word, one with a foreign root so the German author can appear educated?

Or, do they mean 'hard copy' and 'soft copy?'

Explanation:
The point seems to be that "Ausprägung" stands in contrast to "Dokumentversion" (otherwise the statement is utterly redundant), hence the author sees to be referring to copies at one stage of revision or another (i.e. even final revisions).
