German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / Types of building block
German term or phrase:Hüttenstein
This is in a list of types of brick or block, which also includes Porenbeton, Vollziegel, Hohlblockstein etc.
Thanks, all of you, for your input. However, I discovered that the DIN standard 398 translates "Hüttenstein" as "Granulated slag aggregate concrete block" so decided to go with that. It's certainly more cumbersome than your suggestions, but I don't feel I can give points to "brick" suggestions if it's defined as a concrete block.
