Pin numbers on a connector

In the USA, J is often the abbreviation used in schematics to designate a connector.

In this case, I would surmise that this is connector 11, pins 1 and 2.

On the schematic, it would be marked "J11" and the pins might just have the first and last marked.

Something like the picture in the link, but to avoid ambiguity, each connector would have the unique J identifier (J1, J2, J3...) even if they are different connectors.
