Während bisher im Text immer von NiCd Akkus die Rede war, taucht plötzlich der Begriff Nl-Ca Geräte auf.

Fehler des Schreibers oder Editors? Nickel wird mit "ni" abgekürzt und Ca wäre streng genommen Kalzium...

Makes sense, because this is used in consumer language, not just technical - and "NiCd"cannot be pronounced.
