German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Amplifiers
German term or phrase:Steckbrücken
These "Steckbrücken" allow interstage gain to be varied within an amplifier.
"jumpers" would not be a suitable translation in this case.
Why it isn't suitable? A technician explained to me that we indeed do have jumper cables in some of are amplifiers but not in this particular kind of compact amplifier. His suggestion was in fact "bridging plug", but I haven't found any sources that would confirm this. He said that jumpers are normally a construction consisting of a connector + length of cable + connector. Does anyone know if this is true?
