German term or phrase: Befestigungsdome
Context (re. installation of a printed circuit board):

Zu festes Anziehen der Abstandsbolzen führt zum Brechen der Befestigungsdome.

It would seem that this isn't in actual fact a dome at all, but the translations I can find online (nothing in my dictionaries) all seem to differ:

ohne Befestigungsdome
without fastening inserts
">SPHEROS

Befestigungsdome auf dem Gehäuseboden
Additional attachment elements in the housing base

häwa

Befestigungsdome mit Messingeinsätzen
lugs with brass inserts

DIETZEL UNIVOLT

Montage der Leiterplatten ist an den Befestigungsdomen im Gehäuseboden möglich
Bosses moulded in the base allow easy mounting of PCB’s
BOSS catalogue Universal Cases

Am Gehäuseober- und unterteil sind Befestigungsdome für Leiterplatten vorgesehen
Internal screw pillars for mounting PCB’s in cover and bottom
BOSS catalogue Hand Held Cases

Some sites do say "fastening dome" but, as I said above, it evidently isn't a dome of any kind.

Just guessing again. How about if you just use 'mountings'? Can't find anything conclusive myself.
