German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / unsure
German term or phrase:(Auftrags)Wanne
Hi-I must admit I'm rather out of my depth on this subject, but it's a short text and so I took it!
The text is about an 'Ansetzbehälter' (batching tank?)and most of the words are on LEO, and seem pretty clear, but this one is tough
I assume the 'Auftrag' is the job, or assignment. I have used 'va't for 'Wanne', to differentiate it from the tank, though I must admit I am unsure of exactly what all this looks like, though I get the concept.
Thanks a lot!
Sorry about that, I meant to put German in
Fällt der Pegel in einer Auftragswanne der Auftragseinrichtung unter das Minimum, so wird Emulsion aus dem Ansetzbehälter mittels einer Druckluftmembranpumpe in die Wanne gepumpt.
I am unsure what the batching tank is for, the text is 250 words and there is no context. Yes, I know I should have asked! I could try to find out tomorrow AM
Thanks a lot, off now to teach German at the Uni, but will get back to you in the morning, if I don't manage to in next 10 mins
