German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general)
German term or phrase:Spannenschellen
Beispiele für Drahtsicherungen an Spannenschellen
I'm not convinced this is right, I rather suspect it should be Spannschellen.
* Sentence or paragraph where the term occurs: See above
* Document type: Installation instructions
* Target audience: Aerospace engineers
* Country and dialect: Germany (possibly south German dialect, probably none)
obviously exists, but has multliple translations, which even vary wildly from one dictionary to another. Only Ernst has an aviation entry: (Luftf) eye end, but that doesn't seem to go well as "eye end and housing", whereas even the more likely "clamping bolt and housing" only gets 2 Ghits. Any better/more qualified suggestions?
