I'm translating the Gesellschaftsvertrag of a GmbH (US English). The following points are from a list of activities that require the approval of the shareholders' meeting:

Eingehung von Wechselverpflichtungen, denen keine Warengeschäfte zugrunde liegen

Gewährung oder Aufnahme von Darlehen, Krediten oder Wechselverbindlichkeiten außerhalb des gewöhnlichen Geschäftsverkehrs der Gesellschaft

I'm asking about both terms together because I am wondering if they are referring to the same thing. What that thing is, I'm not sure. Bills of exchange? Notes payable? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
