German term or phrase: Null-Limit-Karte
Can anyone tell me please whether they know of a term in English for Null-Limit-Karte? It is not as simple as I thought it would be, because in English a “zero limit card” means you can take out as much as you want and as is clear from the definition below, this is not the case:
Null-Limit bedeutet, dass eine Kundenkarte kein Bankomatlimit besitzt und somit nicht am Bankomat bzw. an Bankomatkassen verwendet werden kann, sondern lediglich zum Ausdruck von Kontoauszügen und Barabhebungen am Schalter einsetzbar ist.

In the USA, you have your ATM card which allows you to withdraw from the ATM (i.e., your account) and you have debit cards where merchants can just directly debit your account. You have credit cards, of course.

You may have to explain this one with something like:

Balance-checking card

I would not use "check" because that has other meanings and could be miscontrued (even worse than my suggestion above).
