These are actually online "appointments," not face-to-face, for the most part. There is no therapy group, but there is a therapist who gives the patients feedback on how they are doing with certain techniques they're supposed to be practicing. Of the two individuals named, Ms. R is the more profoundly depressed and has had a relapse after leaving the hospital. She also evaluates the method of therapy as very helpful. So if she "couldn't think of a reason" to participate, it would have to be (I think) because she's too depressed to think about much of anything. |
