Aus steuerlicher Sicht kann die Leistung freiwilliger Einlagen sehr attraktiv sein, weil sie sich vom steuerbaren Einkommen abziehen lassen, wodurch sich dieses reduziert.

Für das Geltendmachen von Einlagen in steuerlicher Hinsicht ist die versicherte Person verantwortlich. Über die steuerliche Abzugsfähigkeit entscheidet die zuständige Steuerbehörde. Die Vorsorgeeinrichtung kann diesbezüglich keine Verantwortung übernehmen.

agree  Nicholas Krivenko: "The beneficiary is responsible for claiming the investments as tax exempt. Sounds better with "tax exempt", I think. You are right: it's TWO words. Nowadays they just pile up everything into one long crazy-looking word. Like "Einhandkommandogeberhebel".
