The company does not create, develop or produce software or hardware but markets such products. The products are complex and require considerable explanation during the selling phase and much customer training afterwards. The company offers high-level training courses as a major source of revenue. Most of the customers cannot use these products without the training. I understand what "erklärungsintensiv" means but would prefer not to use "explanation-intensive" if anyone can come up with a good alternative.

Here is the context:

"XXXX is in der IT-Branche tätig und vermarktet erklärungsintensive, technologisch führende Hard- und Softwareprodukte. Zu den Kunden zählen ausschließlich Wiederverkäufer wie System- und Softwarehäuser. Das Unternehmen konzentriert sich dabei auf die vier wachstumsstarken IT-Bereiche: Internet-Technologie, IT-Sicherheit, Server-based Computing und Netzwerke. Produkte sind beispielsweise Technologien die Netzwerke sicherer, leistungsfähiger und stabiler machen. XXXX spürt weltweit und insbesondere in den Vereinigten Staaten neue Software- und Hardwareentwicklungen auf und vermarktet diese an seine Wiederverkäufer."
