German term or phrase:Daten-Töpfe
"Die Abhängigkeiten hinsichtlich der erfoderlichen (sic) „Daten-Töpfe“ ergeben sich aus den Vertriebs-Strategie sowie den unterschiedlicher Märkten."
Talking about some sort of SAP-based sales software. I have absolutely no clue what "Daten-Töpfe" are supposed to be. The usual culinary translations of "Topf" make absolutely zero sense in this context. "Abhängigkeiten" isn't quite so obscure, but I'm having a lot of difficulty working out what that word means here. Just struggling with the whole phrase, basically. TIA for your help.

is something very specific while the term "Datentöpfe" is rather colloquial. I would assume that Nicole's suggestions "data pools" or "dats sources" are quite sufficient unless you have some background information which points to data warehouse ...
