re(-)routing / routing switchover Explanation: Dies wäre meine (einigermaßen begründete) Vermutung. Oder vielleicht auch "alternative routing". Gemeint ist damit wohl das Umschalten auf eine andere Leitung/Anbindung, die ggf. langsamer sein kann, oder es kommt im Moment des Umschaltens zu kurzen Störungen (deswegen wird das überhaupt erwähnt): "The downside is the BGP routing switchover causes a blip in connectivity to customers." zit. aus: http://www.solutionpro.com/company/solutionpro-blog/post/dat... Im Netzwerkbereich spricht man auf dieser Ebene im Engl. jedoch meist nicht von "Leitungen" ("lines"), sondern von "routes", weil die TCP/IP-Netzwerksoftware die Verbindung eben auf dieser Ebene behandelt (d.h. nicht mehr auf der Ebene physikalischer Verbindungen).
