agency agreement // business management agreement Explanation: These are the terms given by Dietl/Lorenz (German-English legal dico) for "Geschäftsbesorgungs*ver*trag". It goes on to say that a G. is a "contract for services by which one party undertakes (for a consideration) to look after the interests of the other (e.g. lawyer, estate manager, administrator of property)". I'd go for the first option in your case. You may also use a structure such as "Party A was commissioned to act as an agent on behalf of Party B" if a full sentence is what you're looking for (possibly elsewhere in the text). More precisely, the party was commissioned with the procurement of capital (o. fund raising, depending on context). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 58 mins (2004-01-14 10:52:04 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Post-grading: I don\'t think a single transaction is meant here, as suggested by \"raducu\". |
