Law/Patents - Law (general)
German term or phrase: BO:, ZPO, BV, VAG
All taken from legal proceedings written in Swiss German. BO would appear to be "Beweisofferte" and is used as an abbreviation when listing documents after each segment, but now I come across it when listing witnesses - can witnesses be listed as pieces of evidence??

ZPO, BV and VAG appear to be Swiss laws or regulations (§ 137 ZPO). Does anyone know a good glossary of Swiss legal terms, a good legal site?

Explanation:
I agree with the first contributor about the meanings of the acronyms. In English, according to Eurodicautom and Hamblock/Wessels:
ZPO=Code of Civil Procedure
BV= Federal Constitution
VAG=Insurance Supervision Act

Explanation:
1. whitnesses can be listed as evidence
2. ZPO=Zivilprozessordnung
3. VAG=Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz
4. BV=Bundesverfassung

BV fand ich nur in Verbindung mit
zusaetzlichen Buchstaben. Es hat aber
jedesmal Bundesverfassung bedeutet.

Ich hoffe dies hilft.
