Occupational invalidity (Berufsunfähigkeit): PEP x 0.6667 x AR.

General invalidity (Erwerbsunfähigkeit): PEP x 1.0 x AR.

PEP = Personal Income Points (persönliche Entgeltpunkte). The number of income points is based on the level of income on which contributions were paid and the allowance credited for certain non-contributory periods. For an average income, one contribution year corresponds to one income point.
