German term or phrase: Aktien zeichnen und beziehen
I always translated zeichnen as subscribe and a Bezugsrecht as a subscription right. Now I've got both terms (zeichnen and beziehen) in one sentence. Can someone explain the difference and how he/she deals with this?

Bezugsrechtsinhaber können über ihr Bezugsrecht hinaus Aktien (Verwertungsaktien) in der Frist zeichnen und beziehen.

subscribe and obtain
Explanation:
zeichnen=subscribe
Bezugsrecht=subscription right
You are correct.

Here they mean that owners of subscription rights can obtain additional shares exceeding the amount they are granted by their subscription rights (I guess because they can buy additional subscription rights or old shares directly on the market)

agree  Karin Walker: Is it true that in this context, "subscribe" is used neither with "to" nor with "over", as in "oversubscribed"? Sorry to hijack the query.

  -> I have seen "to subscribe to shares" and "to subscribe for shares" and just "to subscribe shares". According to Zahn both to and for is correct in this context
