German term or phrase: Barkautionsnummer
Die unter der Barkautionsnummer --- bei der Kasse der Bezirksanwaltschaft --- deponierten Fr. 1000 werden definitiv beschlagnahmt und zur Deckung der Busse und der Verfahrenskosten verwendet.
What is 'Barkautionsnummer' and is there a correct term for 'Kasse der Bezirksanwaltschaft'?

Explanation:
Kaution = bail bond or bail or security deposit
bail bond or bail are definitely used in the US;
bar = cash
So the bail was paid in cash
Cash bail no.

Romain gives "cash office" for Amtskasse which sounds a bit strange to me. "Cashier's office" would be the term used in the US; you may have to coin a phrase such as the
"district attorney's cashier's office" or some such. If the Amtskasse der Bezirksanwaltschaft is a proper name, it wouldn't be translated at all.
