Law/Patents
German term or phrase: allfällige weitere vorbehalten
A man has been convicted of breaking laws concerning working/rest periods as a professional driver. He is ordered to pay:
Barauslagen (allfällige weitere vorbehalten)
I have been informed that Barauslagen would be expenses but what does the bit in brackets mean?

English translation:subject to [possible [the possibility of]] additional charges
Explanation:
"weitere" refers back to Barauslagen. I assume that there's a figure in there somewhere that gives the amount of the Barauslagen. The parenthical remark reserves the DA's right to charge the driver for any additional costs that might arise from his case.

allfällig (österr., schweiz. für etwaig, allenfalls [vorkommend], eventuell)
(c) Dudenverlag
Barauslagen fpl
(com) cash outlays
– out-of-pocket . . . costs/expense

Explanation:
allfaellig=swiss/austrian for eventuell=
1. moeglicherweise eintretend=possible, contingent
