German term or phrase: BV
Nachtrag zur BV vom 15.01.1996
This appears in the record of a police interrogation. What is "BV" in this context? Can anyone point me to a good bilingual or unilingual glossary or search engine for acronyms and abbreviations for German and English?

Beschuldigtenvernehmung
Explanation:
I'm taking a guess here. I think this what BV means - it's the correct gender (die Beschuldigtenvernehmung, zur BV), and it makes sense in the given context.

As for acronyms, there's http://www.acronymfinder.com, and you'll find a lot more using Proz's new search function (left hand side, under the extras menu).

Sorry, just noticed you wanted translation, not only an explanation of the abbreviation: \'interrogation of the accused\'
