Mail Order Sales Act Explanation: ... which also covers purchases via email and the Internet or TV shopping; see below: Das Gesetz gilt für alle sogenannten Fernabsatzverträge, d.h. „Einzelne Vorschriften“). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-08-09 16:18:28 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Based on a combination of my research above and Fred Thomson\'s suggestioin below you could also use \"Remote Sales Act\" or perhaps even \"Remote Purchases Act\" since it is the purchasers who benefit from and are protected by this legislation (it\'s a law and not just a set of guidelines or rules) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-08-09 16:40:40 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another reference which may help you decide on the right term is: http://jurcom5.juris.de/bundesrecht/fernabsg/index.html Reference: http://www.fernabsatzgesetz.de/ |

Law on Remote Marketing Explanation: Erich could be right. What he says makes a lot of sense, but I suggest that you consider a more generic translation. The law may cover more than just mail order marketing. |

e-commerce act Explanation: or "indirect sales act" I would call it, tho in the end, physical merchandise is delivered by the mail or UPS |
