German term or phrase: Wechsel
Wechsel werden nur nach besondere Vereinbarung angenommen. Auf Wechsel wir kein Skonto gewährt; Spesen gehen zu Lasten des Käufers. Bei Zahlungsverzug oder Nichteinlösung von Wechseln wird die Restschuld sofort fällig.

"Wechsel(n)" appears three times in this text. I was somewhat unsure whether they should all be translated the same way. Particularly the 1st vs. the 3rd.

agree  Protradit: Wechsel is a general term for several financial instruments; draft is more specific for the one whereby more is drawn down

  -> In our construction contracts we find both terms - sometimes it depends to the country: UK= exchange, US=draft or bills of exchange! Thanks!
