"Wenn rechtzeitig Ersatzlieferung bei dringendem Bedarf nicht möglich ist, erfolgt ein Verlesen/Nacharbeiten der Teile durch den Hersteller."

This is from an agreement between a company processing parts and the manufacturer.

The meaning of "verlesen" in this context is not quite clear to me. Could anybody clarify, please? Thanks!
