How does "Produkt ABC liegt voll im Trend" translate into English?

English translation:product ABC is state of the art / product ABC is trendy
Explanation:
You really can't say located, since that would refer to an actual physical location.

You want to say that this product is what everyone is looking for at this time.

Good Luck

First of all, many thanks to all of you!
I actually chose "state of the art" as it was a very technical product and it seemed to fit best into the context.
But I also was strongly tempted to use "en vogue" especially after following your URL, Dierk.

in fashion - trendy - "in"

Explanation:
I don't think we should say:
"product ABC is state of the art" for "Produkt ABC liegt voll im Trend". Many things that are not or never were the most advanced state of technological development at any given time can be "trendy" at some time point. A giant safety pin pierced through a navel might be "in" or "trendy" but not state of the art. The just released latest greatest Intel 37000 MHz chip might be state of the art but not "in fashion".

in, cutting edge of fashion

Explanation:
Voll im Trend is definitely something that's in fashion (as McCrosky says) and has relatively little, if anything, to do with being state of the art. "In" would be a good choice. Depending on how colloquial the text can be, you may wish to borrow a phrase from today's teen lingo and go with hot (or cool) or rad (or bad)... If the product is a piece of clothing, cutting edge of fashion may also get the point across.

en vogue

Explanation:
I would take the concept of being 'in' or 'in style' a little further and use an americanized French phrase: 'en vogue'.
