German term or phrase: Restplatzbörse (RPB)
This "Restplatzbörse" seems to be some sort of organisation devoted to developing new technology in relation to travel agencies and tour operators, especially those marketing themselves on the Internet. But very hard to think of an English equivalent. I think it's a fairly new concept. It's based in Austria, if that's any help. Your assistance would be most gratefully appreciated. Two problems, basically: 1) How to translate Restplatzbörse?
2) What to do with the "RPB" abbreviation?

English translation:On-line travel exchange (for last minute travel)
Explanation:
The second URL listed below shows up on the first URL listed below with the description "last minute travel." It looks like a way to book travel by providing ways to check availability according to your parameters: country, date and price (kind of like priceline, but whether it offers last minute travel exclusively is not clear to me). Accordingly, I think the "Restplatz" might refer to remaining seats.

Explanation:
it sounds like a clearinghouse for unfilled seats. Does this work in your context? I can't think of an abbreviation for it though. I don't think there is one in English,
