A more appropriate approach might be to define semantic categories or concepts with several related terms, translate these categories as a whole (i.e. identify all terms in the target language that belong to this category) and then count the total number of occurrences of all the terms in one category.

One day, I may present this suggestion to my client, but as it would cause a minor earthquake in their workflow, I have little hope of being heard.

What I'm looking for is an adjective or a description that can either characterise a spirit (or a spirits brand) AS IF IT WERE A PERSON or describe its (typical) consumers. So there is no need to be overly restrictive (as in "a drink can't be happy or trustworthy").

Characteristics that do not make sense, however, are those that you would never even associate with the brand in question, in this case Greek spirits. So "unspoilt", for instance, which I remember having used for "urspr�nglich" when talking about regions, is probably not appropriate here.

An additional problem is that none of these descriptors may clash with one another, so if I use "traditional" for "traditionell", the use of "tradition" anywhere else is strongly discouraged. That's why so many adjectives are not available.
