"campaign day" literally, but here I think what is meant rather is "during a normal operating day". This doesn't translate very well into English "Campaign day" (usual meaning), so I think what they want is "on a normal day of operation" or "on a normal operating day"

Explanation:
Aktionstag can be (and generally is) more than just a day on which a sales promotion is run; it is generally be a special day to draw the public's attention to a special topic, such as, for instance, renewable energy sources, use of new media in the training of apprentices, and a host of other special interest projects. (See some examples below). An Aktionstag is comparable to a special interest fair (e.g. an energy fair where all sorts of vendors display their wares and information, or a home building/home design show, or events of that nature).

Presumably your text indicates the type of program/campaign that the Aktionstag refers to, in which case "number of visitors per day" might already be sufficient.

If the text deals with Aktionstage in general (i.e. days devoted to the promotion of different topics/interests), you might wish to use a phrase such as "per day dedicated to the promotion of xyz" or "per day of the xyz event/fair/show/promotion/campaign" or s.th. like that.

However, unless you are quite sure that this particular Aktion is a sales promotion, I'd try stay away from translations such as sales day, normal operating day, etc. By definition, an Aktionstag is something OUT of the ordinary, thus normal operating day would be the exact opposite of the intended meaning.
