English translation:take to heart
Explanation:
When advice is "verinnerlicht", we say that the person "takes the advice to heart". The colour theory, originally based on the work of Johannes Itten, of the German Bauhaus school, has been popularised in North America. Your own colouring tells you what palette of hues will make you look your best. Taking this to heart, many shop for cosmetics and clothing with their "season" in mind, autumn, winter, spring, or summer. They feel it works! So it is really taken to heart.

internalize

Explanation:
I'm sure that you've already come up with this yourself, but I think "internalize" does work here. It's interesting to note that the majority of hits revealed for +markeing +internalize on Northern Light use the word in the sense that students or practitioners of marketing must learn to internalize certain principles (one such site is given below). Depending on the perspective here (is the "Sie" colour's current employee, potential employee or customer?), you could go with "make them your own" or "make them a part of your life/routine."

Good luck.
