German to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / instruction/self-help marketing for small business
German term or phrase:Ansprache des Klients
The term was used in a marketing brochure designed for small auto repair shops and seemed to literally indicate "addressing" the customer but upon analysis seemed to mean interfacing, contacting or including in a database. It came from a translation try out that has already been turned in some weeks ago.
It's pretty bad German, it should be 'des Klienten'. Sometimes you ge source documents that either have been badly translated from another language or that were written by someone who (hopefully) knows a lot about their field but not much about writing.

This answer was the least likely to occur to me but it fits the context the best. So I am the wiser from this suggestion.
