German term or phrase:Antriebsglocke
This is the name of a part, it is not used in a sentence and I know from an internal dictionary that the "Antriebs" part stands for differential. So it would be something like a "differential-clock" but somehow it doesn't sound right. The part is round with a hole in the middle.
Hi John, I don't see any edit button although I know what you mean, normally there is one. Unfortunately that is all the content I have but looking at the photo your answer for this question makes sense. In the internal dictionary there is a listing for Antriebskegelräder as differential bevel pinions, so I thought it might have something to do with the differential. Thanks again for your help.
Hi Warren, you should be able to edit your posting (Ken's remark) by clicking on the 'Edit' button, which is in the same line as the button for answering etc.
I don't know whether the part in question is an inner component of the bell housing, as you have not provided any further context.
Please put only the actual term in the keyword field, and do not enclose it in quotation marks. We know that "Antriebsglocke" is a word, and the quotation marks will make it impossible to find the term in a glossary search.
