Kontrolle der Rollentaster und Nockenringe auf festen Sitz und Funktionssicherheit.

The above sentence appears in a bedienungsanleitung of an anodizing system. WHat could be the ideal term for Rollentaster.
Could Nockenring be translated as 'Cam ring'. Thats what Ernst says.

A quick response would be appreciated.

Just a guess, as Rollentaster isn't such a common word either.
Cam ring sounds perfectly fine.

Pushbutton might be another option for Taster, does come up quite often as the translation for it because sensor can mean a lot more than Taster.
