siehe die dazugehörige Frage unter www.proz.com/kudoz/1534816

Es geht noch einmal um diese Tabelle. Neben dem Stenosegrad steht der Begriff 'Kollateralen' und darunter steht 'angefärbt von' und daneben 'Abgabe durch'. Unter dem Begriff 'Abgabe durch' steht nichts.

Schwer zu sagen, was sich die Tabellenkonstrukteure unter ihren Kürzeln vorstellen - das einzige, was ich mir hier vorstellen kann, ist die Angabe, aus welchem Gefäß(abschnitt) die jeweilige Kollaterale abgegeben wird.

Google meint, dass man bei Kollateralen "sprouting from" statt "branching off" sagt.
