From a text about making dental restorations with electroforming, sandblasting etc. Anyone happen to know what a "Retentionsrelief" might be? No convincing hits for "retention relief". TIA for your help.

Thank you for at least answering, but I'm not convinced by this, because there is also such a thing as a Retentionsoberfläche. I therefore can't help feeling that something other than just "surface" is meant. Might ask this question again in the hope of getting greater participation and better answers.
