German to English translations [Non-PRO] Medical - Medical: Health Care
German term or phrase:Naturheilpraktiker
an activity/profession. Practitioner of naturopathy?
Or do you have something better suited? TIA.
Actually, a naturopathic doctor has very rigorous training including pre-med, see http://www.aanmc.org/index.php, alternative practitioners could mean a lot of things and may not require similar training, therefore naturopath is the most comparable term.
Careful, In Germany/Switzerland it is actually a protected profession (unlike translator). There are set rules&testing requirements, not everyone can call themselves a Naturheilpraktiker. So I'd be careful with using "natural healer" or "alternative..."
