German term or phrase: rückengerecht
Questionnaire on "rückengerechte Arbeitsweise in der Pflege" aimed at senior nursing staff and their trainers. The meaning is clear enough but what's an equivalent term? "back-friendly"?

Explanation:
I'm not sure that there is a simple, one-word equivalent.

There's any number of "healthy back" products on the market here in the US, a "healthy back bag" (which you can buy through various catalogs), a "healthy back chair" ... But I'm not sure if you can use the term "healthy back" in your context.

You may have to turn things around and use a term like "injury prevention"

Maybe a phrase like
"ergonomically correct methods to prevent back injuries" would work ? HTH.

Thanks! we stuck with back-friendly in the end as it needed to be something the same shape to keep the questionnaire as comparable as possible in both languages.
