German to English translations [PRO]
Medical
German term or phrase: Stationsleitung, Pflegedienstleitung
These refer to senior nursing staff. They occur in the context of a questionnaire on Rückengerechte Arbeitsweisen in der Krankenpflege:"...Ist die rückengerechte Arbeitsweise Bestandteil von Weiterbildung/ Qualifikationen z.B.zur Stationsleitung, Pflegedienstleitung oder Fachkrankenschwester?" Are these specific ranks in the hospital hierarchy with UK equivalents ?

Explanation:
Stationsleitung=head nurse is what
we call it in the US/Canada, but
in Muret-Sanders: nurse of a ward (Stationsschwester).

Pflegedienst=hospital (or nursing)
service;
I would call it head of nursing care, but nursing care may be more Am. English
and "service" maybe more Br. English.
