German to English translations [PRO] Medical
German term or phrase:Hoher Werbedruck für den Abverkauf
Explanation: As no one else has suggested anything, here are my 2c worth:
Never heard of Abverkauf, and my dicitionaries don't yield anything.
To my native German ear it sounds a bit like 'clearing the shelves'.
'Werbedrucksache' = advertizing matter, broadsheet
BUT, I suspect it is to be taken almost literally,
i.e. High advertizing pressure (There is probably a better term for this). Meaning lots of money and emphasis spent on advertising
this particular product. This also makes sense together with my
interpretation of Abverkauf.
