German to English translations [PRO] Medical
German term or phrase:Arzt im Praktikum
Is "intern" the equivalent in English? If not, how would you circumscribe it for something like a resume?
Explanation: Elizabeth, with all due respect, has gone a bit overboard here - "intern" is the term used in every hospital - no one speaks of a new "physician intern" - have you ever really listened to actual conversations in hospitals or among doctors? If yes, you would know that "physician intern" is "awkward", to say the least.
