German to English translations [PRO]
German term or phrase: atemverschieblich / Bläschatmen
Symmetrische Thoraxform, Lungengrenzen seitengleich atemverschieblich, über beiden Lungen seitengleiches regelrechtes Bläschenatmen........

The part of a sentence that is given , appears in a medical report. I would want to know good English substitutes for "atemverschieblich" and "Bläschenatmen." Any ideas?

The above mentioned site might be very helpful for your purposes. Good luck!!

Sorry, forgot about the first part of your question. My suggestion would be: (without being too wordy)
Thorax is symmetrical, widening evenly with breathing, or,
lungs (lung borders) widen evenly with breathing.

That\'s definitely what they are talking about here. I\'ve never seen the term \'lung borders\' mentioned on any English language report sheet. They rather mention \'lungs\' or \'thorax\'.

By the way: \'Bläschen\' are \'Alveolenbläschen\' where the gas exchange take place. Thus \'alveoloar breathing\'. (Second part of your question)

You can access the site mentioned above easily by searching Google for \'alveolar breathing\' and selecting the very first entry.

Good luck again!

Sorry, gas exchange \'takes\' place.
