German term or phrase: Zuggurtung
"Der Eingriff stört nicht die wichtigen Zuggurtungsstrukturen (ALL oder PLL)". In a text about disc prostheses. The only translation I can find for this is "tension band wiring", but that can't be right here as they're talking about natural structures (the ligaments) and not wiring. (I'm presuming that ALL and PLL mean anterior and posterior longitudinal ligament...). Can anyone help?
