German to English translations [PRO] Medical
German term or phrase:schief angespritzte Schlaeuche
(Testing of catheters)
Visuelle Pruefung auf schief angespritzte Schlaeuche am Schlauchkonnektor.
If Ueberspritzungen are "squirts" (see earlier question), what is meant by angespritzt? This is followed by "pruefen auf volle *Ausspritzung* des Schlauchkonnektors...
Explanation: A guess: If this is like an IV, something else might be connected to it. If the connection is not straight, the flow of whatever is transported via the tubing might be impeded.
For Ausspritzung I'd suggest s.th. like complete emptying if that fits into your context.
A Google search on all the terms (angespritzt, ausspritzen, Ausspritzung, etc.) didn't yield any hits. But maybe this makes sense within your context.
As far as Überspritzen = squirt goes, I'm not so sure, either. My gut feeling is that this might be overfilling (again thinking of an IV where often s.th. else is added into a small reservoir), but it's impossible to say without having seen the overall context.
