"Der Vorteil dieser Methode ist, dass durch den scharfen Schnittrand eine genaue Analyse des Konus-Präparates durch den Pathologen möglich ist. Dieser muss nämlich beurteilen, ob auch wirklich alle Krebszellen entfernt wurden, die Ränder des entnommenen Gewebes also bereits gesunde Zellen beinhalten.
