German term or phrase: Komplettverschluss mit Kollateralversorgung auf die arteria fibularis
This is a report on a magnetic resonance angiogram of vessels of pelvis and legs. I do not understand the sense of "auf die" here. Is it collateral supply to the fibular artery or collateral supply by means of the fibular artery?

to the fibualar artery
Explanation:
as I understand this sentence it is a collateral circulation connected to this artery. According to "Pschyrembel" it's a bypass of occluded vessels towards less suppied tissues by adapting smaller vessels (i.e. dilatation)
